GINGERBREAD CRUMBLE TRUFFLE SQUARES

MAKES 32 PREP 40 MINS COOK 20 MINS

• 3x 200g blocks dark cooking chocolate

• 395g can sweetened condensed milk

• 1/2 cup Biscoff Crunchy spread

• 1/3 cup cream

• 25g butter

• gold leaf to decorate (optional)

CRUMBLE

• 1 cup plain flour

• 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar

• 2 tsp ground cinnamon

• 1 tsp ground ginger

• 1 tsp baking powder

• 125g cold butter, chopped

• 1 tbsp golden syrup

1 Grease and line an oven tray with baking paper.

2 CRUMBLE Place all ingredients in a food processor. Blitz to a rough crumble. Coarsely crumble mixture into small pieces over prepared tray.

3 Cook in a preheated 180°C oven for 15-20 mins or until lightly golden. Set aside to cool.

4 Grease an 18cm square cake pan. Line base and sides with baking paper.
