These Aussie singletons are ready to find love and hand out a lot of roses

MEET THE NEW BACHELORS!

It's one of the more successful dating shows out there, with six marriages and six babies to eventuate from The Bachelor Australia franchise.

And this week, three new Bachelors - Wesley Senna Cortes, Ben Waddell and Luke Bateman - are set to try their hand at landing their own happily ever afters.

You're all successful and good-looking. Why do you need to do The Bachelor to find love?

BEN Well, I was asked to do it, and I took it on because, at the end of the day, I was lonely. I've got a lot of friends and family who are now shacked up and having kids, and so when an opportunity like this presents itself, you've got to roll the dice.

WESLEY I had all the shows reaching out, like Married At First Sight, and while I could never see myself going on anything like that, it was the third time someone approached and I thought, I've taken so many risks in my life - I've changed countries, changed careers...but when it comes to relationships, I've always been quite safe. So I thought, why not throw myself in the deep end here?

LUKE I had my two best girlfriends apply for me. I really thought nothing of it and then a month later I got this phone call from Warner Bros and I was like, "You're joking!" I jumped at the chance.
