King Charles III is raring and ready to go, and it's no surprise, given he has spent 73 years as the monarch-in-waiting.

Royal sources tell Woman's Day that in recent years he has been "consumed by thoughts of how to take the monarchy forward" while keeping his mother front of mind. The Queen is said to have spent the past two decades acting as something of an instructor for Charles, who at long last has ascended the throne.
