It was love at first sniff when Wally met Lily
Dressed in a stunning hand-stitched tulle gown, the bride radiated happiness as she walked towards her love-struck groom.
Lily, a 10-year-old Jack Russell, and Wally, a rescue dog aged about 11, were joined in mutrimony” at Levande Hills-view retirement community in Happy Valley, Adelaide, on January 28.
“It was wonderful. No one barked. It just worked perfectly,’ Wally’s owner Renate Petersen tells Woman's Day.
Renate organised the wedding with her best friend and Lily’s owner Jennifer Ranger, 79, while a retired priest carried out the ceremony.
