How can one walk a week be enough for us to stay fit and healthy, I hear you cry. After all, we're told daily movement makes for a happy body. But, yes, a walk a week can be enough, providing that - and here comes a mighty caveat - you are moving your body in other ways.
This includes some resistance training at least a couple of times a week. That, and that alone, is going to help build bone density, make your muscles stronger, improve the health of the connective tissue (tendons and ligaments) and make our joints more stable. Hooray!
