Graham Norton on festive traditions and why he is 'so fond' of Taylor Swift
-
It will soon look a lot like Christmas in Graham Norton's studio, as the king of chat decks the halls for two festive specials of The Graham Norton Show. We caught up with Graham as he was unpacking the baubles to find out what Christmas means to him and to get him to dish on the A-list stars he meets every week.
Graham, the holidays are on their way! What will you get up to at Christmas?
We [Graham and his husband, filmmaker Jono McLeod] will do the usual thing of celebrating with family. My favourite Christmas tradition is getting out all the ornaments and putting up the tree – it really gets me in the mood. I also love Christmas because it gives me a little break from work to see family and to drink and eat too much plum pudding and stollen – stuff you don't eat at other times of the year.
What's your favourite childhood Christmas memory?
One Christmas I got a goldfish and a ventriloquist dummy. I was still up at 4am entertaining my fish with my new ventriloquist act!
