It's time to put an end to feeling ashamed and embarrassed - for good
Why no woman should put up with bladder leaks

When it comes to the joys of getting older, a problem that up to half of us will experience is bladder weakness. And, if it's true that having big babies puts you first in the queue for this, then my third (and final) child at 10lb 5oz leaves me right up there! The good news? You don't have to simply put up with it' - your GP is willing and able to help.

Any accidental escape of urine is classed as 'incontinence' to us healthcare professionals - a fact that often makes patients truly horrified, as many reserve this terminology for full-on wet accidents.
