1 Make a date with your dentist
Almost a quarter of UK adults aren’t registered with a dental surgery* – that’s a lot of decay going unchecked! ‘Seeing the same dentist reduces your chances of needing further treatment by 30%,’ says dentist Dr Tony Smith, founder of the Teeth4Life app. You should have a check-up every six months and get regular professional cleans from a hygienist to avoid problems later on.
