APPLE IMAC (2023)

A long-overdue update to the iMac here, or at least one to its internal workings - though Apple does so little with the iMac line that you'd be forgiven if you missed the gorgeous physical overhaul that happened in 2021, the last time its all-in-one desktop machine got a look.

Like its portable sibling, it benefits from the M3 chip and the rendering and performance improvements that come along with it, but unlike the MacBook Pro it doesn't appear to support the upgrade to M3 Pro or Max. We suppose screaming power really isn't the idea behind the iMac, though at up to twice the speed of the then-revolutionary M1, this new breed of iMac can certainly back its 4.5K Retina display up with more than enough juice to push those pixels where they need to be.

T3 SAYS: Shame this 2023 iMac is locked to 8GB RAM, though...
