You might have a ‘smart’ home, but nobody’s going to be impressed if they’re up to their knees in dust, pizza-crust debris and dog hair
CLEANING

HAIER TH27U1 ROBOT CLEANER

₹13,999 / haier.com/in

If you haven’t yet invested in a robot cleaner such as this one, it’s probably because of  the sky high prices that some of them charge. Any robot cleaner worth its salt costs upwards of ₹20,000 and for what they do, it seems to be a lot of money.

Add to that the inability to efficiently clean the nooks and crannies of your home and it is an obvious no go. The Haier TH27U1 comes in at just ₹13,999 and has a lot to offer!

It’s a pretty basic operation here. The robot looks like the thousand others you’ve seen before and has a silver top plate that looks great. One of the biggest issues we’ve had with cleaning robots is the act of cleaning the dust that settles on the robot itself. Thoughtfully so, the Haier doesn’t have any silly grooves or other design embellishments on top that allow dust to settle. It’s a plain flat finish that allows me to just wipe the dust off with a cloth in one swipe.

Another thing that we absolutely love about the design is the fact that there are no sensor modules jutting out at the top. This allows the robot to fit under most of the furniture thanks to its 76mm height.

One button does it all

Haier has really focused on the simplicity big time. Press the power button once and it will start auto-clean immediately.

A little extra?

Haier gives you a pair of additional brushes in the box that you can replace once the stock-fitted options go through their life. It's a simple pull-push operation to replace.

Intel Raptor Lake Core 19 Instability Problems

THE RACE BETWEEN AMD AND INTEL has heated up in the past few years as Ryzen processors have become increasingly competitive. The amount of headroom for overclocking has shrunk in response, and it seems motherboard vendors may have tweaked settings a bit too aggressively.

What exactly is an 'AI' PC?

AI, EVERYWHERE, all at once. That, in a nutshell, is what's happening to the computing industry. The PC, inevitably, is not immune. Later this summer, you'll be able to buy a machine that officially qualifies as an 'Al' PC, according to no lesser an authority than Microsoft. But you might be surprised at who's making it.
