AI is getting smarter, but it's cloud developers who give it wings. From stitching agentic systems to embedding invisible intelligence into everyday tools, they're the silent architects making AI not just powerfulbut personal, secure, and everywhere

The critical role of cloud developers in democratizing AI

According to Gartner, "By 2028, at least 15% of day-to-day decisions will be made autonomously through agentic AI, up from zero percent in 2024."

— Gartner, Top Strategic Technology Trends for 2025: Agentic AI.

As AI becomes integral to how organizations operate, cloud developers are engineering the backbone that makes it secure, scalable, and usable across the enterprise, resulting in faster innovation, higher customer and employee satisfaction, and better business outcomes.

There is a significant shift in strategy where businesses are smoothly integrating AI into all aspects of their critical operations, including finance, operations, customer service, and product development. According to IDC, businesses will spend more than $30 billion on AI by 2027 to provide individualized customer experiences. They will be using agentic AI, which is a type of autonomous system that can learn, adapt, and work together in complex environments, in addition to predictive models.

Yet even the most sophisticated models mean little without the engineering expertise to deploy them securely at scale, integrate them into business systems, and make them reliable and accessible to everyday users. Cloud developers play a very critical role in architecting, developing, and deploying cloud-based platforms and applications for the ubiquitous presence of AI across enterprise systems.
