Kindly brief us about your company and the ranges of products you are dealing in India.
In 2018, Mr. Jagdish Kumar returned to India, giving up his Green Card and his restaurant in New Zealand. At first, things were not all smooth sailing as he was unable to find a job. After a series of trials and errors, he put up a tea stall in Nagpur where, after working hard for a few months he bagged two significant clients namely HCL & Infosys. Subsequently, he opened several enterprises such as Chotu Chaiwala, Chaatwala, Unlimited 24, and others which helped him do Rs. 1.2 Cr. in business. However, god had some other plans as soon after, covid 19 broke out in the whole world and he found himself in distress again. Currently, he has a very successful venture known as NRI Chaiwala Tea & Confectionery and plans to open multiple franchise businesses like Maywish Cosmetic, Maywish Fashion, Chaatwala House, NRI Tea Café, and Shoe afire among others.
Share with us your vision behind the launching of your brand “NRI Chaiwala” and how challenging was your journey?
Through our franchising concept, we hope to increase the number of business owners in India and address the needs of the female workforce. It has been an extremely difficult path up to this point because during COVID we have close down every restaurant. Nonetheless, we didn’t give up and are launching a new franchise model once again.
