As it competes with giants like the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Pixel 10 Pro, we spent our time with the X300 Pro to see if it can genuinely claim the title of the best camera smartphone in the world.

DESIGN & BUILD

The Vivo X300 Pro features a refined, flat-edged design, moving away from the quad-curved edges of its predecessor, the X200 Pro. Despite weighing around 220 grams, it maintains a slim profile thanks to its 6510mAh battery and prominent camera module. The aluminium frame offers a premium grip and an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

The standout camera island houses a triple-lens array in a circular Zeiss-branded visor. However, it lacks a dedicated camera shutter button, which could have enhanced usability for photography enthusiasts.

Its 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display has ultra-thin 1.5mm bezels and an impressive screen-to-body ratio of over 91%, providing an immersive viewing experience. Vivo's partnership with Zeiss adds Natural Colour mode, enhancing colours and reducing eye strain.
