What are some of the key innovations and product offerings BEML plans to showcase at IME 2025?

At IME 2025, we're proud to present how BEML is shaping the next chapter of India's mining industry through indigenous innovation and sustainable engineering. Our exhibit at Stall R210, Hall Red (Mining), Science City Ground, Kolkata, will feature some of our most advanced, future-ready solutions designed to meet the sector's growing demands.

A major attraction will be the 21 cu. m Electric Rope Shovel—a high-capacity, indigenously developed machine that marks a significant stride forward in India's mining capabilities. We'll also be unveiling our flagship electric dump trucks, the BH205E-AC (205 Ton) and BH150E (150 Ton), engineered to deliver both high performance and energy efficiency in large-scale operations.

Adding to this lineup are our Electric Hydraulic Excavators—the BE1800E (180-ton class) and BE1000E-1 (100-ton class)—purpose-built for high productivity with a lower environmental impact. Also on display will be the BG1205 Motor Grader, a 550 HP class machine with a 24-foot blade, ideal for demanding mining terrain.

Alongside these flagship machines, we'll present a range of advanced mining and construction solutions. Each product embodies BEML's focus on sustainability, productivity, and leadership in indigenous technology.

How do you see the mining equipment industry evolving over the next 5-10 years, and what role will BEML play in this journey?

The coming decade will be a defining period for India's mining equipment industry. Demand will surge across coal, iron and steel, limestone and cement, aluminium, copper, zinc, as well as large-scale infrastructure programs in highways, railways, metros, ports, airports, irrigation, and smart cities.
