APPLE SILICON CHIEF JOHNY SROUJI DISMISSES EXIT RUMORS AND REAFFIRMS HIS COMMITMENT TO THE COMPANY

Apple's senior vice president of hardware technologies, Johny Srouji, moved to eliminate speculation about his future at the company, telling employees in a memo that he does not intend to leave and remains fully committed to leading Apple's silicon engineering efforts.

His message, shared Monday, directly addressed persistent rumors suggesting he had considered an exit—a narrative that gained traction after a Bloomberg report claimed he discussed the possibility with CEO Tim Cook.

“I love my team, and I love my job at Apple, and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon,” Srouji wrote, offering a rare public-facing comment from one of Apple's most influential yet traditionally low-profile executives. He added that employees deserved to hear from him directly, acknowledging the level of internal concern the earlier reporting had stirred.

Srouji's clarification arrives at a sensitive moment. Apple has experienced a concentrated series of confirmed leadership departures over the past several weeks, creating uncertainty around parts of the organization and inviting heightened scrutiny of the company's executive bench. His decision to address the matter head-on serves as an attempt to stabilize morale within a division responsible for some of Apple's most critical long-term engineering initiatives.
