Rampaging Ealing destroy Nottingham

EALING Trailfinders extended their lead at the top of the League with a 12-try demolition of Nottingham, with wing Tom Collins scoring four including a first-half hat-trick.
Head coach Ben Ward said at full-time: “We’ve had a pretty tough couple of weeks. Today was about getting the energy back, and playing that high-intensity rugby that.
“We’ll take confidence from today, the feel-good factor will be back.”
The flurry of tries started early, with Collins getting his first six minutes from an easy pass in from short range. Michael Dykes added the second shortly after with yet more clinical work from the League leaders.
While the attack drew attention, it was a complete performance from the hosts as they were dismantling the Nottingham scrum and under some excellent defensive pressure.
