Pollock power show can't rescue Saints

HENRY Pollock lined up what could be a very happy birthday with a two-try burst in a power-packed display but Northampton had nothing to celebrate.
Pollock's two tries came in two first half minutes as Saints built a 21-0 lead before completely imploding leaving their chances of a home knockout match in the balance.
Back row Pollock turns 20 on Tuesday, the day Steve Borthwick announces his England squad for the Six Nations and could well be getting a call-up to add to his other presents.
Pollock was part of an England alignment camp last Monday, a sure sign he is in Borthwick's thoughts, and could not have done much more here to seal the deal.
The U20 World Cup winner has been the talk of the town this season and lived up to the hype with a display of power and pace which unfortunately came to nothing.
