McCarthy's out to turn things around

CONNACHT'S Éanna McCarthy leads Ireland as they look to build on last season's impressive display and bounce back from a disappointing Six Nations that produced only one leaving them bottom.
Their only win came against Scotland, and their campaign included a loss to Italy, against whom they have the chance to exact revenge on this summer.
Head coach Neil Doak said: “It’s been a challenging season, but this group has shown resilience and real character. We know the competition at the World Championships will be fierce, but these experiences have made us stronger. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to test ourselves on the world stage.”
