Young star steps up to Prem
TEEN star Alex Scott has thanked everyone at Bristol City for their role in his development after stepping up to the Premier League with Bournemouth in a £25m deal.
Midfielder Scott, who hails from Guernsey, attracted plenty of attention last term for his stellar displays for the Robins. He was named the Championship Young Player of the Season and included in the division’s Team of the Season.
It became a question of whether a club would be willing to meet Bristol City’s valuation of Scott, who turns 20 in eight days time. In the event, it was the Cherries who stumped up the cash.
