Rahil Pillarisetty pulls off a thrilling win; Sarthak wins a brace

Rahil Pillarisetty from Hyderabad and Bengaluru teenager Savion Sabu hogged the limelight with contrasting victories in the two premier Pro-Stock categories as the Rolon Round of the MRF MMSC fmsci Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship concluded at the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, recently.

Mad Rabbit Racing enjoyed a profitable day in the second round, as their riders savion, Amit and Mikail excel in their respective classes.

Pro-Stock 301-400cc Open category

Pune teenager Sarthak Chavan from Petronas TVS Racing pulled off a brilliant win, his second in three starts. Starting from P3, 18-year-old Sarthak survived some close calls and contacts with pole-sitter, Hyderabad’s Rahil Pillarisetty from RACR Castrol Power1 who eventually finished third behind Chennai teenager Johann Reeves Emmanuel from Motul KTM Gusto Racing India to win an incident-filled 10-lap Race 1.

While 27-year-old Rahil maintained impressive pace to fight off strong challenge to win the Race 2, Savion swept to a comfortable victory, his second of the weekend, for the Bengaluru-based Mad Rabbit Racing team.
