The Big Poo Review
The Week Junior Science+Nature UK
|Issue 65
Hold your nose for some super-stinky science.
-
Have you ever wondered how often people poo? Or how long most people poo for? And which part of the UK farts the most? Well, now these questions – and many more – have finally been answered.
Conducted by the health science company ZOE, The Big Poo Review surveyed more than 142,000 adults across the UK. Those who took part were asked a series of questions about their toilet habits. The results were then reviewed by Dr Will Bulsiewicz, a gastroenterologist (an expert who studies and treats the human digestive system).
