Going back to MINECRAFT after a seven-year gap

I used to be good at this. At one point in my life I was a Minecraft expert – I could build intricate cityscapes and fight the Ender Dragon easy peasy. Heck, I even used to run a kids magazine that was exclusively about Minecraft... and yet here I am. Utterly lost.

I ended up here after my kid started showing interest in the game so I thought I’d jump back in, go on a little adventure, maybe build something, and show off a bit about how much of a ‘cool’ parent I am... but things didn’t go to plan.
