Create weapons rather than fighting with them

Crafting your own weapons has become such a part of modern games we hardly notice it any more. From magical weapons powered by soulstones in Elder Scrolls titles to gunsmithing in CoD, we're able to create custom weapons with unique properties. Bladesong takes that familiar mechanic a bit further.

It begins in a tent, where you lay dying of fever. An old woman comes to you, asking you questions to decide your character, and then you awaken to a hellscape of mud and shallow graves. All you have is an abandoned forge, an artefact you chose at the beginning, and your skills.
