Summer is here, which to my mind, means lovely warm weather, golden light and cocktails at a garden party. The reality is more like sweaty armpits, insect bites and annoying drunken people, but we can dream. And so can your photos. That's the Affinity project this month, adding those warm summer vibes to your outdoor portraits.

The trouble with shooting outside in the summer is that you don't want your subject squinting in the light, so then you have the problem of backlighting and the subject looking dull. Let's fix that with some colour gradients and lighting effects to make it all look warm and lovely.
