Work starts on £5m green tech upgrade at leisure centre

Work to install decarbonising technology at a leisure centre in Wakefield has begun to make the building and its swimming pool more energy efficient.

The upgrade at Sun Lane Leisure Centre comes after Wakefield Council secured £3.8m of funding for the project from the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme.
