U13s Boys back on the cup trail as U14s Girls grab semi-final spot

Leeds Schools FA U13s Boys took the first step in retaining their Cup crown with a 5-2 win over visiting Hull.

Leeds struck first through Harry Cullen but Hull's response was immediate and the visitors were soon ahead.

But a deflect saved from a Cullen strike saw Gavrie Boboze react quickest to pull Leeds back level.

Cullen struck again to restore the lead before a second for Boboze and a Kryssle Boomer rocket put the game to bed.

Leeds Schools U14s Boys cruised into the Yorkshire Cup second round on the back of a 4-0 win over Barnsley at Wetherby Sports Club.

Despite missing several key players, Leeds showed their strength in depth.

Stanley opened the scoring with a powerful header from Jacob's corner, before Ernie doubled the lead with another superb header at the back post.

The home side's back line remained solid, keeping Barnsley out for yet another clean sheet.
