Ten-year-old's epic cycle bid in memory of little brother

A 10-year-old boy is cycling 127 miles from Liverpool to Leeds in memory of his little brother.

Archie Vaughan, from Morley, died of a brain tumour in 2021 at the age of three.

In his memory, his parents Hayley and Craig set up a charity, Archie's Caravan, to provide free holidays to families with a child who has been diagnosed with cancer.

The couple have already completed a bike ride from their home in Morley to Filey to raise money for the cause.

Now Archie's brother Harry will cycle from Liverpool to Leeds by canal over two days in August in a bid to raise £500 for the charity.

As the YEP went to press, the total was already past the £450 mark. The caravan gives families the opportunity to spend quality time together, making special memories and taking a break when they need it the most.

Archie's caravan is situated at the Haven Reighton Sands holiday park in Filey.
