Teen reaches final in BAFTAS Young Game Designers competition

Vaughn Bragg, 14, is one of 52 finalists aged between 12 and 18, selected by top games industry experts.

He is shortlisted for the Game Concept Award, which rewards the most original and best thought-out game idea.

Vaughn said he was “very proud and excited” when he received the news that he was one of the 10 finalists in the 10-14 Game Concept category.

His game idea is a fast-paced, chaotic cooking-based game named Fry da Spida.

Summarising his game’s premise, Vaughn said: “It’s a co-op game where you play as a spider. The players take control of the limbs and you need to cook dishes for customers in a restaurant.
