Teen hit and run victim wanted to train as doctor

Ashton Kitchen-White, 19, died when he was hit by a car as he crossed Middleton Ring Road, close to Beeston Park, at 10.10pm on Friday night.

West Yorkshire Police say the car, a red Ford Focus, had turned left from Bodmin Approach into the ring road where it hit Ashton as he crossed the road near the Leeds Urban Bike Park.

The car failed to stop after it hit him.

Ashton’s family have paid a heart-breaking tribute to the teenager, who had dreamed of becoming a doctor.
