These are five household products that can add shine to your home surfaces and furniture and wash away stubborn stains without you having to shell out on branded products
-
Recent news states Brits waste around £868m a year on unused cleaning products, despite only using some key staple products.
Additionally, the price of various household cleaning products has risen by 27.3 per cent compared to three years ago*.
To help people save on their cleaning expenses, London waste removal experts Clear It Waste have compiled a list of five all-natural ingredients that can be used to clean your home, resulting in more eco-friendly cleaning at a cheaper cost.
1 Vinegar
One of the best all-purpose cleaners is completely natural and may already be sitting in your cupboard.
With its antimicrobial properties and ability to dissolve mineral deposits, grease, and grime due to the high acidity contents, vinegar is a cheap and effective solution for many cleaning tasks in the home.
A mix of equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle can be effectively used in place of traditional multipurpose sprays to clean windows, doors, countertops, cupboards, and more.
