Lunch break to savour at Rosa's Thai

Superb food and great value at Trinity Centre venue

Can you remember the last time you had an incredible two-course lunch, slap bang in the city centre, for £15 - and that included a drink? Nope, me neither.

But that's exactly what happened when we visited Rosa's Thai Café in the Trinity Centre.

The weekday set lunch offer was just too good to ignore and had clearly attracted other like-minded diners keen to take advantage of the authentic flavours and laid back atmosphere on offer.

There's a choice of small plates, main courses and a side dish plus a glass of Nam Dang Manao - a sweet, tangy bright red Thai soda that's incredibly refreshing.

My guest was starving, as usual, so ordered an extra portion of spicy Thai fried chicken to go with his crispy pork bites and Sriracha sauce - an explosion of flavour that had both heat and depth.
