LNER warning to passengers over hack

Train operator LNER has urged customers to be wary of “unsolicited communications” after revealing some passengers’ contact details and some information about past journeys have been accessed in a cyber attack.

The business, which runs services between London and Scotland, and through Leeds, said in a statement it was “made aware of unauthorised access to files managed by a supplier”.
