You might add to that The Naked Gun, which alongside its ‘sister’ series Airplane! - both starring Leslie Nielsen - is considered an untouchable classic.

However, the new take on the Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker classic may just put those fears to rest and make for a welcome addition to the franchise.
