Duo's delight as amazing weight loss prompts new career move

Slimmers in the north-west Leeds area are about to benefit from the know-how of two women who have achieved great things.

Two inspirational slimmers who transformed their lives by losing a combined 13 stones are using their success to shape exciting new careers for themselves.

The pair have trained as Slimming World consultants and are now setting out to help other people change their lives and achieve their weight loss dreams, too.

Mitch Scott joined her local Slimming World group in Moortown, in January 2025, and shed four stones. Jodie Clark joined the Horsforth group in January 2020 and lost an remarkable nine stones.

The pair attended Slimming World's national training academy in Derbyshire. Members at Moortown and Horsforth are getting ready to welcome Mitch and Jodie as their new consultants when they relaunch their groups later this month.

Mitch will be relaunching the Yeadon group next Wednesday, October 22, while Jodie will be relaunching the Horsforth group on Saturday, October 25.
