Airport departure lounges must be among the best places for people watching.
Folk happy to be heading home, folk sad to be saying 'so long' and hungover folk, wishing they'd passed on that last night of the holiday drink as they photograph their 6am hair-of-the-dog pint for social media.
Watching and waiting for our flight last weekend there was one concession noticeably quiet as the crowds killed time wandering through the duty free shops, filling their baskets with Toblerone.
