Deputy Commissioner, SSP review drug prevention and awareness measures

Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain and SSP Sandeep Kumar Malik on Wednesday reviewed the drug deaddiction and awareness measures under the ‘Yudh NNashean Virudh’ campaign in the district, stating that stock of antidrugs measures will be takenonweeklybasis.

Interacting with the officials of the line departments at the local District Administrative Complex, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain and SSP Sandeep Kumar Malik said that the foremost priority is to contain drugs and help those in rehabilitating, who have caught in drug trap. They said stringent action would be initiated against peddlers and supplier in line with zero tolerance policy. The concerned departments are making all out efforts against drugs thus the number of OPD and IPD have been increased in the district at de-addiction and rehabilitation centres, which reflects desire of addicts to shun themenace.
