Threw weights from flat

A man who threw gym weights at police officers from his third floor flat has been placed under supervision for a year.

Gary Clark was also fined £300 when he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.
Armed with a knife, he claimed to have a gun and threatened to shoot officers if they tried to get into his Motherwell flat.
Clark, 38, admitted threatening or abusive behaviour as well as culpable and reckless conductin Mellor Place on August 19.
He was already on two bail orders at the time of the offences.
