Western Morning News
|July 25, 2025
TWO boys were spotted metres away from a railway track in Devon in what police described as an incident with “potentially tragic consequences”.
-
The incident took place on the railway line near Plympton at around 5.30pm on Sunday, July 6.
British Transport Police (BTP) attended the incident with paramedics and the fire service. An extensive search of the area was conducted, but no one was located.
CCTV footage showed two boys lying metres away from the track. The footage apparently showed them filming on their phones. Police have said they are concerned for the safety of the two boys, after what could have been a tragic incident. They hope to warn the parents of the boys about the dangers of trespassing on the railway.

YOU need to be quite accommodating if you work at The Repair Shop. Obviously you can specialise in fixing certain kinds of stuff - in fact, it’s best that you do; they don’t want any old ham-fisted oaf let loose in there - but you can’t pick and choose what you will and won't mend.
