Tshiunza confirms he is leaving Chiefs

Western Morning News

March 27, 2026

CHRIST Tshiunza is relishing a new opportunity with Sale Sharks after confirming he will be leaving Exeter Chiefs at the end of the season.

- STUART JAMES

The 24-year-old Wales captain has spent the last six years at Sandy Park after joining the club from Cardiff and he has gone on to make more than 50 appearances for Rob Baxter's side, scoring four tries.

Injury has curtailed his development in recent years, though, but he hopes a move to the Sharks can kickstart his career with those injury issues also restricting his international outings to just 15 caps since his debut in the Autumn of 2021. Tshiunza has not worn the red shirt of Wales since November 2024.
