BRIAN Barry-Murphy is expecting AFC Wimbledon to be a stern test for his Cardiff City side this evening.
Cardiff struggled in their opening away game of the League One season at Port Vale, failing to get a foothold in the match and arguably got more than they deserved in their draw.
Barry-Murphy wants to see an improvement on that performance - starting tonight against the Dons (7.45pm).
“I've been to the stadium a few times, I think they're really strong at home,’ he said.
“We have to show that we can go to these grounds away from home and be much more competitive than we were against Port Vale.
“I thought the supporters were brilliant. They were very patient with us last Thursday and I thought it was really great to feel that.
“I would just hope that they have seen signs of what we can achieve.
