Wales call up four new faces for battle with Boks
Western Mail
|November 25, 2025
TEVE Tandy has called Ospreys forwards James Ratti and Garyn Phillips, Scarlets wing Ellis Mee and Cardiff hooker Evan Lloyd into the Wales squad ahead of Saturday's clash with South Africa.
Wales will be without 13 players for this weekend's clash with the Springboks due to the game falling outside of World Rugby’s designated international window.
They are particularly short in the back-three, with Louis Rees-Zammit returning to Bristol Bears and Josh Adams suspended due to receiving a red card in the win over Japan. Mee will compete with Tom Rogers, Jacob Beetham, Rio Dyer and Blair Murray for a place in the back three.
