Vunipola brothers eye switch to Tonga

ENGLAND brothers Mako and Billy Vunipola could be set to switch international allegiances, with the duo eyeing roles with Tonga at the next Rugby World Cup.

Mako, it is being reported by RugbyPass, is eyeing a coaching role with the Polynesian country, while Billy is being lined up for a playing position within the squad itself.

Officials from the Tongan rugby establishment have been in touch with the pair, with their father Fe'ao turning out for the country at 1995 and 1999 Rugby World Cups, while he also captained them.

Both have been contacted about playing, but elder brother Mako believes it may have come too late for him to continue lacing up his boots and is instead more interested in pusuing a coaching role.
