A “GREEDY” businessman who made a fortune selling vapes has been ordered to pay back a quarter of a million pounds or go back to jail.

Vape shop boss with fleet of luxury cars and boats handed £250k bill

Ethan Smith has already been sentenced to 41 months in prison for running a fraudulent business and to 12 months for lying to a judge about who owned a flash BMW car.

Now he faces another two and a half years inside unless he coughs up the cash.

Swansea Crown Court heard the prosecution believes Smith has “hidden assets” which investigators have been unable to find and he is going to have to release those secret funds in order to pay his bill.

The defendant was jailed in May 2024 for running an illegal vapes business from shops in Llanelli and Swansea and an online operation based at a unit on Bynea Industrial Estate.
