Rees-Zammitt heaing back to Wales in Bears return

LOUIS Rees-Zammit is set to make areturn to Wales with Bristol Bears as they take on the Scarlets tonight.

Bristol travel to Pare y Scarlets for round one of the Investec Champions Cup, with Rees-Zammit drafted in for the injured Jack Bates as one of two changes to the XV that beat Northampton Saints.

England and British and Irish Lions star Ellis Genge is the only other alteration.

Rees-Zammit came off the bench against the Saints and played for a little longer than boss Pat Lam had intended, having previously returned to the club carrying a knock from his time with Wales.

However, after coming through that contest unscathed, he is ready to face the Scarlets this weekend.

Lam said: “He is buzzing and running around quickly and looking pretty good.”
