Parents feel ignored by a broken system

ANOTHER week means another victim of a broken health system recounting their horrific experiences in one of Wales’ hospitals.

Jessica Sims has told of the excruciating experience of losing all six of her babies and yet still waiting years for answers because she didn’t fit a certain criteria.

Once she was finally allowed tests after losing five of her children, including Megan-Jayne who died at 12 days old, Jessica, from Bridgend, was told her body was attacking her foetal tissue.

By that time she'd had another miscarriage.

“If I’d known that earlier maybe 1 wouldn’t have put myself through so much heartache,” Jessica told us.
