A stunning strike from Jordan James put the visitors in front in the first half, before Adam Idah restored parity from the penalty spot.

But Leicester sealed what was ultimately a deserved win after a stunning strike from Abdul Fatawu and a header from Jannick Vestergaard.

It’s only Swansea's second home defeat under Sheehan, who admits he was disappointed by the way his side finished the contest.

“I don’t want us to be a nearly team,” said the Irishman.

“For 75, 80 minutes of the game we were well in it.

“Two worldie goals and then a ricochet set-piece at the end and after that we lose a small piece of discipline - that can change the perception.
