A "MONSTER" raped a woman while she slept and took indecent images of her naked as well as filming women covertly when they went to the toilet.
He was discovered after a hard drive was found to contain images and videos of women who had been filmed without their knowledge.
Ian Hennah, 58, from Newport, raped his victim while she was asleep and had not consented to sexual intercourse. She reported the matter to the police and a hard drive belonging to the defendant was seized by the police.
A sentencing hearing at Cardiff Crown Court heard the hard drive was examined and images of women using the toilet were discovered.
The images had been taken by a secret camera Hennah had placed in a toilet and he had filmed women without their knowledge.
He had also taken images from underneath two women's clothing, an offence colloquially known as "upskirting". Also found were images of the woman he raped, which had been taken of her naked body while she was asleep.
Hennah, of Hampden Court, was convicted of rape and pleaded guilty to voyeurism outraging public decency, and operating equipment beneath clothing of another without consent. The court heard he is of previous good character.
