AN OBSESSIVE man ignored a restraining order to call and message his ex partner and threaten to “snap her jaw”.

Phillip Ashton, 42, of Swansea, turned up at her home and said he would go “ballistic” if she did not let him in, despite being made subject to a restraining order preventing him from approaching her and contacting her after he was convicted of stalking her last year.
Cardiff Crown Court heard that on October 13, the victim received a phone call from a withheld number and recognised the defendant's voice when he said her name.
