Man pulled out 'gun' in McDonald's

A MAN casually brandished a weapon at a group of teenagers in McDonald's and later aimed it at a police officer in the street.

Jacob Jenkins caught the attention of the youths of a group of youngsters in the Tonypandy McDonald's on May 2. They noticed that he was wearing a stab-proof vest under his coat and was staring at them.

Jenkins, 29, was asked if he was a police officer and he replied "marines" before showing them the gun he had in his possession. The group then left the restaurant and called the police.

Jenkins was later spotted by a police officer on Gelli Road in Tonypandy. However, instead of cooperating, Jenkins again pulled out the weapon and pointed it directly at the officer before leaving the scene.
