LATE DRAMA SEES SWANS DENIED POINT

Taylor's stoppage-time header denied Swansea City a share of the spoils with Millwall at The Den.The Lions defender popped up to net in the 92nd minute to condemn Swansea to their fifth defeat in six away league games, having previously set up Mihailo Ivanovic for a deserved first-half opener.

Vitor Matos, clearly wary of the bruising festive schedule, made five changes to the side who saw off West Bromwich Albion on New Year's Day, and watched on as his team struggled to replicate the intensity that had delivered some of their recent successes.

Swansea did improve in the second half, however, and when Ben Cabango netted an equaliser there was perhaps some hope they could potentially seal back-to-back away victories for the first time this season.

But Taylor shattered those hopes deep into injury time, although it was arguably only the brilliance of Lawrence Vigouroux in the first half that meant this game even remained a contest.
